Organized by the Feindef Foundation, a private non-profit organization, FEINDEF promotes awareness among Spanish and European societies about the critical importance of Security and Defence. It highlights the role of scientific and technical research and innovation as drivers of economic growth, technological progress, and social integration.

The Feindef Foundation was established in 2020 by the Ministry of Defense and industrial associations TEDAE and AESMIDE. Under the leadership of Julián García Vargas as its president, the foundation is committed to elevating the Spanish Defence and Security industry to its rightful position of prominence in Spain, while projecting an image of innovation and modernity internationally.
